The bus services through Arkendale changed on 17th April 2011. The route operator is now Eddie Brown.

The main bus stop is at the Blue Bell Inn, in the centre of the village. There is an additional stop, on route 57, at the south end of the village, on the way to Coneythorpe.

Service 56

Between Ripon and Harrogate via Littlethorpe, Bishop Monkton, Burton Leonard, Copgrove, Staveley, Arkendale, Ferrensby, Farnham, Scotton, Knaresborough and Calcutt.

Service 57

Between Roecliffe and Harrogate via Boroughbridge, Aldborough, Minskip, Staveley, Ferrensby, Arkendale, Coneythorpe, Flaxby, Goldsborough and Knaresborough.
