Salsa Verde

Marton cum Grafton Village Hall, 7.30pm.

Presented by Badapple Theatre.

World premiere of a new original comedy with music and dance. Salsa Verde, or Green Sauce to give it a more local flavour, follows two different generations of characters where a romantic love-triangle seems destined to be repeated down the years. A wartime Bevan Boy and a navy recruit clash at the dance hall, as do another thoroughly modern duo fighting over the instructor at the local village hall Salsa night. Classic Badapple comedy for all ages, with a bit of a song and a dance thrown in.

Annual Parish Meeting and Parish Council Meeting

Arkendale Community Hall, 7.00pm (PC meeting), 8.00pm (AP meeting).

This is an open meeting for all electors in the Parish so if there are any items you would like to raise please do come along and have your say!

The Parish Meeting, which all parishioners are encouraged to attend, provides a very valuable opportunity to raise matters of concern or interest to all.

The Parish Councillors will welcome a good attendance and also the chance to meet new people in the village who may as yet not know how the Council is run.

This is a much more informal meeting than the usual Parish Council meetings and it provides a much-needed opportunity for the electors in the parish to come and discuss matters of their choosing. Free tea and coffee will be provided.
