Mike Burniston & Paul Cocker very kindly donate their time and all the fireworks each year. So this year we are going to have a collection for Yorkshire Cancer Research. Buckets will be passed around on the evening, so please show your appreciation to Mike & Paul and support this worthy, local charity.

Annual Parish Meeting and Parish Council Meeting

Arkendale Community Hall, 7.00pm (PC meeting), 8.00pm (AP meeting).

This is an open meeting for all electors in the Parish so if there are any items you would like to raise please do come along and have your say!

The Parish Meeting, which all parishioners are encouraged to attend, provides a very valuable opportunity to raise matters of concern or interest to all.

The Parish Councillors will welcome a good attendance and also the chance to meet new people in the village who may as yet not know how the Council is run.

This is a much more informal meeting than the usual Parish Council meetings and it provides a much-needed opportunity for the electors in the parish to come and discuss matters of their choosing. Free tea and coffee will be provided.
